I'm at home. Prepping for the wedding. But would you believe that that is not what I am the most worried about?
Oh, just wait till you hear this. On the way home from dropping Josh off at his parents house, upon arriving in our home town, I hit a very large chunk of wood with my very little car. Frick.
Luckily, I was already in my neighborhood, so I made it home safely. Apparently, it tore up my transmission pan (you can follow my trail of transmission fluid directly to my house) and now my dad says that motor oil is leaking from something. It's pretty bad. But if the repairs and hours of labor required to fix my poor little Sunfire, then I'm not going to deal with that. Josh and I will just have to get a new car. The week we get married. Talk about an inopportune time to have a car crisis.
All things considered, Josh and I (me especially) are handling this very well, even though the whole thing is incredibly stressful. We will keep you updated.

Lists, lists, lists
We're at 28 days until the wedding and I'll admit that I'm getting a little frazzled. There are just so many details. So many things to think about at the same times.
I can't even tell you how many lists I have going on right now. And the best part? Each list gets edited everyday to add more stuff. Bah!
The great thing is that all the major things have been done or have been planned out. It's the little things that are left and there are alot of them! More posts are coming to feature the little cute details. Now, sleep.

Four Weddings
We don't have a television, so I very rarely watch any TV shows. So, of course, when Josh and I come home to visit our families I enjoy a little time in front of it.
I ended up watching an episode of Four Weddings. Oh, TLC. What have you done?
Basically, Four Weddings is a competition between four brides where they attend each others weddings and rate them based on venue, dress, food, and overall experience. At the end, they compile the scores and the bride with the "best wedding" wins a really awesome honeymoon.
What?! Whoever has the best wedding??? That is NOT what weddings are about. It is supposed to be a sacred joining of two lives. The bride shouldn't have to worry about being judged on their special day.
Really?

Invitations will be the death of me.
I. am. so. sick of making invitations!!!!
It's a never ending cycle of reasons why they cannot just be finished. It's "I ran out of paper" or another person gets added to the guest list or "I don't have their address." It is really frustrating and I just want them done.
But moments like this do make me realize I have the best fiance ever!!
Me after I realized I made the last ten invitations with the border colors switched: "It's times like this that I really wish we had just bought invitations"
Josh: "Yeah, but they are so cute and they are something that no one else will ever have at their wedding! I'm really glad you're doing it!"
Ahhhh, he's the best. I can just imagine some other couple out there in this sort of situation where the man would have responded "Uh, yeeeahh we shoouuld have bought invitations but you just haaaad to make them". This makes me feel sad and very very lucky.
Now, time to sleeeeeep! I'll finish these later. Maybe this weekend. Hopefully!
